Important Questions

For many Christians the answers to the following questions are obvious. For the majority of Christians, however, they are not necessarily that clear. In the minds of many “Christian-believers” there is uncertainty about these matters. Many non-Christians would also be in a better position to make an informed decision if they knew about these questions and their answers. Some may already have wondered about them. The questions under discussion are:

  • How reliable and trustworthy is the Bible?
  • What authority does the Bible have?
  • Can a person come to know God through the Bible?
  • If so, what does the Bible teach about God?
  • What does the Bible teach about the natural human being’s relationship with God?
  • Is there peace between the natural human being and God?
  • If not, why not?
  • Can this relationship be restored?
  • Can a person be reconciled to God?
  • If so, how?
  • Is a new life of peace with God possible for human beings?

This booklet attempts – briefly, yet clearly – to answer these important questions. It can help the reader to better understand God’s plan of salvation for humanity.

The reader may already be a Bible-believer (a true Christian) and may already know the answers to these questions. In that case, you are welcome to use this booklet as a “review” to make sure that you know the correct answers, especially in a time when: “… many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:11-13) This can only strengthen believers’ faith. And it can also help to:- “…sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;” (1 Peter 3:15).
